Due to an unavoidable issue with the park scheduling, we have just been notified that the course will NOT BE AVAILABLE ON SATURDAY.
As a result, we have no choice but to move the meet to Friday, October 11.
Zac, the FPU staff, Lancer Timing and many others have been great in working with us to accommodate our races moving and we appreciate all their efforts, flexibility and communication!
We will now run the following schedule on FRIDAY OCTOBER 11:
WOMEN’S 5K CHAMPIONSHIP 3:30PM
MEN’S 8K CHAMPIONSHIP 415PM
There will be NO OPEN RACE!
I am very sorry to have to make such a last-minute change but it is out of our control and must happen. I realize the problems this creates for all of you in rescheduling busses, meals and potentially lodging and we wouldn’t do this unless we had no choice.
We will extend the entry deadline to 6pm WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 9. We will also maintain the same entry procedure even though there is no Open Race just for consistency purposes.
Entry fees will be charged based on what is in the system at 6pm on 10/9 so you will NOT be charged entry fees if you are not able to attend the meet provided you remove your entries by 6pm Wednesday.
You are welcome to call my cell but know that I do not have any more info that what is contained in this email.
